Received an email this morning from a A&R at a major label wanting for us to submit to a few projects that he is working on. Going back to a old beat we have in the stash. Made it a couple years ago in the basement during our stay in NY. Think it can fit one of the artists perfectly. Hoping for the best!

Art In The Streets Exhibition Los Angeles

Took a break from the studio today and headed downtown to Little Tokyo to check out Art In The Streets, the first major historical exhibition of graffiti and street art. It was a very well put together exhibit. Check out some pics below....

We produced a track called "Sin Limite" for Spanish Hip Hop artist Campeon aka Champa's new project Asesinato A 33 R.P.M. It will be released on vinyl and digital download through Fresh Kingdom Records. It is our first production on a Spanish Hip Hop album and our first produced song on vinyl.

With his upcoming mixtape “Sleepwalking” and Tres Records debut “Before I Awoke” to be released in 2011, Co$$ premieres his latest offering “The Future’s Past: A Collection of Rejected Excellence” on March 16th. This new project from the Leimert Park artist features production from Beatnick Dee, Godlee Barnes, The Soul Academy and Chief. Joining Co$$ on “The Future’s Past” are Aloe Blacc, Blu, Sene & Akademiks.

Pen Up Songwriter event in Hollywood, CA..

Went out to Hollywood to check out the Pen Up Songwriter event last night at the Musicians Institute. Great event for Songwriters to connect with industry Publishers, Producers & Music Supervisors. Nice panel of industry people. Shanica Knowles performed an acoustic set. Met a couple talented songwriters that we will be working with soon. Looking forward to the next Pen Up in March!!
